Thanks to Dave Dixon, these charts now have a sub-version that is just more recent weeks so you can see any changes more clearly. Somewhat surprisingly, you will see that testing and cases have declined. A lot of people may be on vacation at summer end, but a number of schools have opened. Or the most likely explanation, based on past experience, is that the state is having reporting difficulties. There can be signficant variability in the length of time it takes DOH staff to compile and report events. You will see, particularly, however, that there is no real change in things like hospitalizations among the young, directly contracting the statements made by Kris Errorsperson.
