Cases and deaths broken down by region, courtesy Dave Dixon. Recall the inverse correlation with vax proportion. Deaths are small numbers in any region so there is randomness there. But again note that we seem to be rolling over and on the way down. It ain’t masks and it probably isn’t all vaccines. I don’t know what the formula is. One further note on cases, in the absence of school testing in late August and September, I suspect this wave would in fact have looked blunter.
