Cerner and partners are the apparent winners (and I say apparent because who would really want this disaster in waiting) of the DOD health information systems contract.  Means nothing as there will be protests, litigation, etc. for at least a year, for which Cerner should be grateful.

Capella, the mid-sized hospital chain, is selling itself to a real estate investment trust for $900 million.  The trust will own the hospitals but have them managed by the current leadership.
