Florida True Health, a joint venture between the Florida Blue Cross plan and AmeriHealth Caritas, has agreed to acquired Prestige Health Choice, a Medicaid plan.
A KFF analysis finds that over half the country's hospitals will be penalized under CMS's patently flawed hospital readmissions reduction policy, which the agency has stubbornly refused to fix or enough acknowledge is very, very poorly designed. Most of the hospitals that won't be penalized are exempt from being evaluated.
