I love my job, because you literally cannot make this stuff up.  Sync Project has raised $5 million to prove that its product using music can improve health outcomes, but wait, there's more, this will be personalized medicine (gotta hit at least one of the current buzzwords) because the music will be tailored to the patient's needs.

A study at a single hospital examined whether an intensive bundled payment effort would reduce readmissions for COPD patients.  Despite the intervention, readmission rates were no different for the bundled payment patients, and while there were slight cost savings, they likely were outweighed by the cost of the intervention.
