Concierge health care provider One Medical has added one more medical capability, acquiring Rise, a vendor of nutritional counseling services, supposedly for $20 million.
According to DRX, a unit of Connecture that helps patients pick Medicare plans, prices on a number of drugs have more than doubled since 2014, and some have quadrupled.
The rumors were true, OptumRx, the UnitedHealth unit, is acquiring workers' comp PBM Helios. I honestly have no idea why, must be pressure from large employers to be able to help in this area.
CMS has finalized its rule requiring Medicaid programs to purchase drugs from pharmacies at actual acquisition cost (good luck figuring out what that is), which supposedly will save $2.7 billion a year.
Greatist, raises a big $4.5 million, to support its wellness business aimed at Millenials
