We are less than a week from election day and the Strib is pulling out all the stops to help Dem candidates. The business section has been dragged into the fight with increasing frequency. So today, October 29, we have a headline story in the business section claiming that the “numbers” contradict Trump’s claims on the economy. The economy is actually performing quite well, with high employment, good jobs growth, good personal income growth. Inflation is a concern, but is driven solely by oil prices, which have increased due to the Iran conflict. But inflation is no where near where it was during the Bidementia administration, when, of course, the Strib had little to say about it.
The we get the most absurd story ever. Mary Moriarty, the absolute disgrace of a Hennepin County prosecutor, who has presided over the worst crime wave ever in Minneapolis, decided to charge James O’Keefe for proving that voter fraud in Minnesota is widespread and easy. This is a joke, she has done nothing about real voter fraud, which is rampant in Minneapolis, but goes after a conservative. Now the good thing is that she is giving him free publicity and he will easily win the case, but the cluelessness of the woke crowd is astounding. Then more election interference by trying to convince rural voters that they should be really concerned about removal of illegal immigrants. And more alarm that the Reps are actually attempting to stop Dem voter fraud. Every story on the front page is designed to boost Dems and denigrate Reps. Meanwhile not a word about the Dem Senate candidate in Alaska actively trying to confuse the electorate by running a sham candidate with the same name as the current Rep senator. And oh, by the way the Minneapolis public schools are a thousand students short of projections, because that system is so bad no one wants to send their children there.
