The Anti-Strib, Up to October 28, 2026

By October 28, 2026Commentary5 min read

Someday soon this paper will go bankrupt and Minnesotans won’t be assaulted with its endless rain of ideological drivel.  The owner can’t give it away, no one advertises in it, the news section is 90% cribbed from other sources and you can’t find current sports information.  And right now it is intensely interfering in the election, doing everything it can to discourage and demean conservatives and exalt the Dems who have taken the state into the toilet.

October 21–The business section as usual chimes in with tariff terrorism and the jobless rate rising very slightly for African Americans.  46 agencies are getting togther to use a “data driven” approach to get Somali and other gangs off the streets.  Good luck with that as long as you have horrible DFL prosecutors and judges, who can’t wait to free these thugs.  Buried is a story about a billionaire giving tens of millions of dollars to help Dems destroy the country.

October 22–a crisis team in Minneapolis designed to be an alternative to police had no oversight, accomplished nothing but spent a ton of money, so just another day for awful city governance.  Climate terrorism.  Racist Attorney General Keith Ellison is running on his opposition to Trump, which he has wasted time on instead of going after criminals and fraudsters.  A breathless report on a fake poll that shows Reps are in trouble.  Trump is corrupt articles.  ICE terrorism.

October 23–The feds aren’t doing enough about the killings of two people during the ICE surge, and why should they?  This is none of the state’s business, they are federal employees and the federal government should deal with any issues.  More federal judges interfering with legitimate operations of the federal government, all celebrated by the Strib.  Sympathy for fraudster Ilhan Omar.  Health care cost terrorism, with no note that this all started with Dems pathetic Affordable Care Act.

October 24–Business section praying for a big fall in stocks to hurt Reps.  Beef prices are up because of Trump.  Good press for the Dem governor candidate.  Buried is a story about the most whacked Dem in the country, Hasan Piker, coming here to help Dem candidates.  Russians are trying to hurt a Dem candidate in Texas.  Somali police officers are trying to stop Somali gang violence.  Please note that until it became a more public issue they obviously did nothing to identify this as a problem.

October 25–religious leaders in Minnesota are doing everything they can to help Dems.  Their churches, like the Strib, are flailing and failing organizations that instead of helping people have faith and satisfaction with their lives, have become woke nightmares.  Coral reef terrorism, after studies were just published showing that the reefs are doing fine.  Medicare Advantage terrorism.

October 26–Iran conflict terrorism.  Climate lies, outright fabrication regarding climate change and fires in the Boundary Waters area.  Fires are down, way down, even as CO2 levels have risen.  A story about rich people spending on elections focuses on a Rep donor until way down in the story on the inside is there a mention of the rich people who for decades have caused Dems in Minnesota to outspend Reps by 10 to 1.  The Rep candidate for governor is a secret super-conservative.  Obama, who used government to investigate and silence political opponents and who called for violence against Reps, is on the campaign trail claiming Trump is bad.

October 27–More fraud in the state.  Keith Ellison is worried about losing so he is finally doing some investigating. That will stop after the election.  Trump goes after whacked Dem candidates–how dare he!  Celebration of a likely corrupt Brazilian election result that got a socialist re-elected.

October 28–Last but not least, an attempt to keep the ICE surge in mind as the family of Alex Pretti complain about the case.  This guy was an angry frustrated person who took it out politically, swore, spit at and hit law enforcement; brought a gun to a volatile protest and then tried to interfere with law enforcement.  He set in motion the chain of events leading to his death.  The state should leave it to the federal government to handle any issues.  An attempt to dispirit outstate voters about Trump, but they don’t read the Strib anyway.  Dozens of Dem appointed judges say it is fine to be politically partisan in your handling of cases.

You get the drift, it is all politics all the time with the Strib.
