This guy is incredibly dangerous. He knows nothing. He lies constantly. He is a walking conflict of interest. He makes millions from trial lawyers by using his name to find people to bring lawsuits against the drug industry. Now he is using his position to help those trial lawyers, who are still paying him millions, by making it easier for them to sue drug companies. He is already responsible for a renewed resurgence of measles in the country. We will undoubtedly endure some number of deaths, among children and adults, due to his anti-vax stance and lies. He gives ludicrous health advice. Not everything he does is bad, some of the diet stuff is good and fighting against sexual mutilation of children for example, but on balance he is a completely whacked person to have in charge of HHS. I am no fan of big pharmaceutical and biotech company practices, especially in regard to pricing and suppression of competing products, but allowing absurd lawsuits that only enrich attorneys doesn’t help bring the cost of drugs or health care down.
