The Anti-Strib, September 10-18, 2026

By September 19, 2026Commentary6 min read

The usual reminder, the purpose of this, aside from debunking misinformation, is to illustrate what themes the Dem run mainstream media is pushing on a gullible public.  The Strib is great for this as it does very little original reporting, filling the news and business and other pages with work from other sources, usually AP, the NYTimes and other far-left, radical papers.

September 10–Even the Strib continues to be startled by the fact that a career criminal wasn’t in jail and somehow didn’t just have a gun, but got a permit for that gun in Minneapolis.  The paper must have forgotten that criminals are a protected class in Minneapolis.  Iran conflict terror, all Trump’s fault.  The lettuce contamination is Trump’s fault.

September 11–On 9/11 the Strib chooses to print the garbage spread by New York’s whacked mayor about toxic dust killing more people than the terrorists, who he refuses to call terrorists and whom he secretly admires, or really, not so secretly.  Mail ballot terrorism, how will Dems ever win without that source of fraud.  Measles terrorism in Bangladesh–it’s Trump’s and RFK, Jr’s fault.  Germany may elect a “far-right” party; i.e. a mainstream conservative group that pushes common sense policies on issues like immigration and energy.

September 12–the Dem candidate for Governor, do-nothing meanie Amy Klobuchar says she won’t run for President if elected Governor, which wasn’t a problem since she got a whopping 1% of the vote last time she ran.  Minnesota is considering even crazier environmental rules to discourage business.

September 13–About 5 years too late, the Strib notices that Little Timmy Walz did absolutely nothing to stop a massive fraud on Minnesota’s taxpayer-supported welfare programs, billions of dollars.  More Iran conflit/oil price terrorism.  Trump is upsetting the Irish, he can do no right, ever.

September 14–Minnesota’s crime rate supposedly dropped, but this is a reporting issue–people don’t even bother calling the police anymore for most crimes.  And murders and other serious assaults are likely down, due to the removal of illegal immigrants, but somehow the Strib doesn’t mention that factor.  AI and data center terrorism, with the Strib failing to be a voice of reason and caution.  Another far, far, far left judge tries to stop legitimate actions by the President in regard to agency staffing.  Another mainstream newspaper group has to cut staff–people don’t want to read the left-wing garbage pimped by these papers.  License plate camera terrorism, which is absurd–do people actually want more crime and fewer captured criminals?

September 15–the Minnesota state government is completely incompetent, a new DNR licensing system isn’t working well.  Let’s celebrate diversity in our suburbs, more illegal immigrants and fraudsters for everyone.  “Warming has nations in a fight to survive”.  Really, gee the actual data shows that there is no substantial increase in global temperatures and all the hysteria about fires, melting, etc. is just a pack of lies.  Measles terrorism.  Environmental terrorism as the EPA ends stupid rules about meaningless emissions.  Bond market and interest rate terrorism–everything is Trump’s fault, same old message.

September 16–Trump is very bad and he is trying to make elections fair and secure, which hurts Dems, so he has to be stopped.  Minnesota really is the land of crooks, as a program designed to help businesses hurt by kicking out illegal immigrants hands most of the money over to fraudsters.  The Minneapolis schools are a complete disaster that no one wants to send their kids to, and they finally are admitting they have to close schools.  The Russian control Trump because one of them gave his son money for a wedding party.  Kennedy Center terrorism, Iran war terrorism, AI terrrorism.  The Minnesota Supreme Court says a suburb can use paper voter rosters, which actually limit fraud, the Strib is nervous the practice may spread.  The business section notes that a food distribution warehouse has to close because it is unsanitary and fails to mention that it is run by Muslim immigrants, who seem to have a tendency toward not following the rules.

September 17–Hennepin county has a despicable County Attorney, a completely lunatic far, far left radical who refuses to prosecute criminals but goes after law enforcement.  She is so unpopular she didn’t even bother to run for re-election.  But she has charged over $500,000 for security to protect her from the lawless environment she has created.  The citizens of Hennepin County would love to have that protection.  Oil price terrorism.  Iran war terrorism.  Bill Gates is trying to resurrect his pathetic reputation after the Epstein mess by making up AI terrorism.  Measles terrorism, Trump’s fault.  Business section notes that Minnesota had $250 million in cannibis sales so far, which raised $46 million in taxes, but no word in the article about the cost of the addiction, loss of work, accidents, mental health problems, child poisonings, etc.  More taxes is what matters.

September 18–An ICE agent is charged in court, continuing the pathetic trend of going after law enforcement harder than criminals.  AI terrorism.  Environmental terrorism, no longer will some unimportant “species” be allowed to thwart important economic projects.  The Strib gives more press to the US supposedly committing war crimes in Iran, which it didn’t, than it did to the intentional murder of tens of thousands of its own citizens by the butchers who run that country.  Federal employees were paid not to work, very misleading headline, they were put on leave pending dismissal, and none of them were working when they supposedly were working.  Anyone notice the loss of hundreds of thousands of federal employees?  Make a bit of difference?

September 19–Measles terrorism, accompanied by a story on RFK, Jr’s anti-vax nonsense, from which he makes millions.  On this I agree with the Strib, that guy is the enemy of public health.  Reps are in mid-term trouble, yay!!   Iran terrorism and the usual dumping on anything Trump is connected with.  It is tiresome.
