The Anti-strib, Week of July 26, 2026 and Onward, Part 2

By August 20, 2026Commentary5 min read

This is truly an unpleasant chore, so I put it off, but it is necessary; the Dem talking points put out by the Strib have to be rebutted.

August 10–Minneapolis housing is getting more unaffordable for people on fixed incomes, no mention that it is largely due to government regulation and fees, not landlords.  More positive puffery about Dem candidates and ignoring or dumping on Reps.  Obama is supporting the Muslim terrorist running for Senate in Michigan.  Ex-Presidents all hate Trump.  The Strib hilariously attempts to defend the St. Paul mayor against sex harrassment charges, but if the mayor was male, whatever that is, you can bet the Strib would be leading the charge for a lynching.  And of course the Strib editors, who can’t run a paper that attracts readers or makes money, use the variety section to attack Trump as well.

August 11–A local airline is cutting flights, with the unstated reason being that the Minnesota economy sucks.  Deportation terrorism.  Climate terrorism over heat in Europe.  Hennepin County libraries are cutting staff and hours; but don’t worry, plenty of money still available for Dem vote fraud and regular fraud and other inefficiencies.

August 12–for reasons that elude me, license plate reader cameras are controversial.  If you are driving your car in public you have no expectation of privacy and this is a great way to catch criminals, especially the Antifa types that power the Dem party and illegal immigrants.  Vaccine terrorism, Mideast terrorism, anything to dump on Trump.  Of course Minnesota Dems want to protect criminals so they will be opposed to use of these cameras.

August 13–Strib celebrates women heading the tickets in both parties, but in their initial stories they only focused on the Dem nominees.  Minneapolis is run by idiots and they are proposing yet another double-digit tax increase, 11.3%, amid a few cuts to their inefficient bureaucracy.  But the most important thing is that the vote fraud money is all still there to keep them in power.  ICE terrorism as the agents will be wearing shock gloves to help tell with those violently assaulting them.  Apparently they are supposed to just submit.

August 14–Dems are concerned that their governor nominee might be vulnerable.  El Nino climate terrorism.  The idiot Mike Lindell claims fraud in losing the GOP nomination for governor, but the Strib only reports this to make Reps look bad.  St. Paul isn’t as bad as Minneapolis but is proposing a 7% property tax increase next year, more than double the rate of inflation.  Have to keep that money flowing to Dem voters and your pals.  Astoundingly, the Strib reports on the illegal immigration scam of fake marriages to get entry to the US.

August 15–Whacked Hennepin County Attorney Moriarty isn’t running for re-election, thank God, as she prosecuted more law enforcement personnel than criminals.  But the people running to replace her are no better and that office is filled with idiot ideologues.  Minneapolis schools suck and enrollment is dropping but the heavily minority north side fears school closings as a result of the ineptitude of the school board.  They should be happy to have no more public school options where their kids are not taught anything but politics.  Climate terrorism is affecting marathons.  Trump is destroying children’s health by changing the vaccine schedule.  Trump is destroying the White House by adding a needed and safer function setting.  Trump is treating the military terribly, especially sailors.  You get the usual priority–how can we attack Trump?

August 16–ICE outrage led to Peggy Flanagan, the literal moron who is the Dem nominee for Senate, winning the Dem primary.  The Strib also dreams that outstate voters are buying into the whacked progressive agenda.  Trump’s cuts to food safety led to the lettuce viral outbreak.

August 17–Law enforcement trying to protect themselves by watching groups that have openly said they intend harm to those law enforcement personnel is bad somehow.  The Dems had big primary turnouts so they will win, cheering the Strib, but they are worried because the GOP has a strong Senate candidate in Minnesota.  Environmental terrorism around construct of needed border protections in the Big Bend area of Texas.  More judges exceeding their authority by trying to micro-manage the Trump administration.  As I have noted before the Strib extends its ideology to every section of the paper so the business section fro some reason has a story on Trump job cuts making it harder to fight fires.

August 18–The attorney general of the US, who works for the President, refuses to say he will be “autonomous”.  Another example of wasteful and ineffective spending in a Minnesota program that is supposed to help teens.  Trump is upsetting ally South Korea by trying to keep nuclear armed North Korea calmed down.  ICE terrorism extends to the absurd extent of worrying about tear gas residue in the soil of Minneapolis.
