Their pathetic drivel is so easy to disprove, it is astounding that they have gotten the world to waste trillions of dollars in meaningless spending on “renewable” energy. One of the mainstays of climate hysteria is that all the ice on Greenland and in the Arctic will melt and flood our coasts. Absolute garbage. In fact, in recent years, as it does on a naturally driven cycle, Greenland sea ice and land ice mass have been growing. Very inconvenient for Al Gore to make billions more on his scam.
A recent analysis found that in the period 2017 to 2024, sea ice around Greenland began with a smaller than normal extent but then expanded dramatically in 2023 and 2024. Sea ice formation and extent is dependent on many factors, one of which is the amount of salt in the ocean water. Salinity varies on a cycle that appears to be natural. Other factors include wind, sea water temperature, and air temperature. As a result of all these factors, the amount of sea ice around Greenland has varied significantly over time. When it is low, that is of course due to climate change, and when it is high, as it is now, of course the climate hysterics and their media allies will say nothing. And it is very high right now and another fact revealed in the study is that ocean temperatures near Greenland have also declined recently.

The expansion of Greenland sea ice is likely to create an offsetting cooling from the cycle-low cloud cover, as more sea ice means more sunlight reflected back to space, especially when there are few clouds to absorb either the incoming or outgoing radiation.
