Nothing surprising here. A firm called SmartAssets puts out a bunch of surveys and charts on various matters and recently did one on where the “boomtowns” are in the US. A boomtown is defined as one with rapidly growing population and economic output. Florida leads the country in these with 19, Texas isn’t far behind. I don’t have to tell you what the common theme is behind those two states. Minnesota has not one boomtown, which also isn’t surprising after 16 years of whacked Dem rule. We have high taxes, poor infrastructure, excessive regulation and a poorly educated workforce. And a legion of idiot voters too dumb to see the cause of our struggles and/or bought off by government freebies and fraud.
