A long period of catch-up required. A reminder that the point of this is just to point out the traditional media being deployed on behalf of far-left Dems, which is what the Strib does. And it does it by mostly taking stories from the NY Times, The Wash Po, Ap and other whacked left-wing sources, although it is using Wash Po less since Bezos changed direction. The other purpose of the Strib is to hide the truth about how badly 16 years of Dem rule has destroyed Minnesota, as it has other states with extended Dem rule. So my goal is to just point out the narratives and give a brief counter to that narrative, since it is almost always completely false.
May 2 and 3. In the business section the Strib learns that the state’s unemployment rate is above the national average for the first time in decades. Who knows, maybe they will connect the dots to who has been running the state during this time. The state isn’t growing renewable energy; which I view as a great development for consumers, but the Strib views as a looming disaster. Every single story on the second and third pages of the main section is picked up from the NYTimes, the AP or other sources. Panic on the Supreme Court decision saying no more racist Congressional districts. Mining in northern Minnesota is “controversial”, due to environmental whackos and the Strib chimes in by going after a proposed mine owner.
May 4–The Strib thinks the Iran conflict is going badly. The Strib pimps two awful GOP candidates for Senate and Governor, hoping to boost their candidacy to help Dems. Minnesota has become a punching bag for national Reps–which the Strib seems to think is unjustified, despite massive frauds, crime, etc. The Strib is shocked that our pathetic judicial system let one of the fraudsters who stole millions from us out on bail and then the guy disappeared.
May 5–The Strib won a Pulitizer for covering a school shooting, while completing ignoring that the shooter was a transgender, pot-smoking product of our school system, and he specifically blamed that indoctrination for his issues. Amy Klobuchar, the do-nothing, uber-angry Senator wants to be our next Governor and is trying to claim she will be anti-fraud, but like all Dems, she knew what was going on and ignored it. Minneapolis is a wonderful place to live, especially if you like having your car broken into on the street.
May 6–the judges who place themselves above the law and act politically in immigration cases are under threat, isn’t that terrible, but not a word from the Strib on how they are constantly overturned for making bad decisions. The Strib cheerleads for legislation mandating more gun controls, while ignoring the real issues leading to crime.
May 7–the state of Minnesota has no interest in prosecuting real criminals or stopping the massive crime wave in Minnesota, instead it wants to focus on prosecuting law enforcement agents, especially those involved in immigration law enforcement. Minnesotans are upset about property tax increases, the STrib claims relief is a bipartisan issue, but it isn’t, these increases come from Dems, who spend recklessly and encourage fraud and waste.
May 8–Minneapolis has a horrible police chief, the mayor nominates him for reappointment (spoiler alert, he had to resign for disgraceful conduct shortly thereafter). Minnesota’s children’s hospital is fighting to keep mutilating children, because it makes lots of money doing that. The Minneapolis public schools are awful, the district has a huge budget deficit, parents are leaving the schools so they are trying to sell the empty buildings. Nothing from the Strib on the political issues and lack of education being the real problem.
May 9–Like everything in Minneapolis, the police department has a huge budget deficit, and that is without being close to full staffing. More Trump tariff terrorism, which periodically raises up when the Strib has nothing else to go after Trump on.
May 10–Minnesota’s non-profit hospitals are ripping off consumers and not providing charity care–they learned theft from the state government. An anti-crime nonprofit stole millions; again, what is the big deal–Dems want fraud and wasted taxpayer money. Amy Klobuchar claims she will be a moderate; that is laughable, she votes for every whacked Dem idea. More redistricting terrorism, Dems are angry about Reps response, apparently they were just supposed to take decades of Dem abuse of the process and not respond in kind.
More catchup tomorrow.

Thank you for reading that rag so we don’t have to.
