Debunking Climate Hysteria, May 10, 2026

By May 10, 2026Commentary1 min read

US residents get to listen to climate hysterics nonsense about increasing number and strength of hurricanes due to supposed human-caused global warming, which has been thoroughly disproven.  In the Pacific Ocean off the Asian coast the equivalent storms are referred to as cyclones, and of course the hysterics  have asserted that they also are worse.  And of course, they are lying.  A new study finds that from 1980 to 2023 there is no increase in number or strength of cyclones, if anything they have declined in strength.  It also appears that cyclones most closely track natural changes in certain ocean currents, which don’t appear to have changed either.  Notwithstanding this, the authors do their darnedest to make some argument that climate change will cause increases in cyclones or their intensity, when the obvious truth is that we appear to see only typical natural cycle effects and the lack of change is just another nail in the hysteric climate narrative coffin.  (Nature Article)

Regarding your recent review of the book on money, I would like to suggest a correction. Pompeii was indeed actually a port city with a very safe harbor at the time of the catastrophe from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. It is now inland, and the harbour was filled in at that time.
