I will have more to say about this upon my return, assuming I survive 100 and some miles of hiking, but I saw that our beloved Minnesota Star & Tribune, the number one carrier of stories actually written by reporters from other papers, got a Pulitizer for its coverage of a shooting at a private Catholic school in Minneapolis. Now many of you may not know where Pulitizers come from. It is the Columbia School of Journalism. Columbia is the typical joke of an Ivy league university, wildly woke, anti-semitic and incapable of educating students. The school of journalism fits right in, just do a few Google or Bing or AI searches. So at this point a Pulitizer might as well be called the Lenin Prize or Mao Prize or Ayatollah Prize. It is for ideological pap, not actual journalism.
So it makes sense that the Strib would get one, since it is a self-announced arm of the radical, extremist, far-left DFL party. As far as coverage of the event went, it was pathetic. The Strib went far, far out of its way, to Antarctica and back, to avoid mentioning that the shooter was a lunatic indoctrinee of the public schools who fell for the gender ideology and thought he was a woman and smoked way too much dope. The Strib couldn’t be bothered to note this or that he was a typical “transgender” violently unhappy person or to tie it to the use of THC, which is a dangerous drug. And this jackass left the evidence plainly in sight, in the form of a manifesto in which he said he wished he could get help to stop smoking dope and wished he had never fallen for the transgender insanity.
But noting that and reporting on it would run counter to the Strib’s obligations to the radical extremist DFL party to which it has paid allegiance. No amount of whacked Pulitizer Prizes will change the disgraceful reporting of the paper.
