The Fraud in Minnesota Is Really, Really Bad

By March 12, 2026Commentary2 min read

The biggest affordability issue today is the cost of government–taxes and fees we all pay for supposed government services are the fastest rising cost.  We all know that government is basically incompetent and inefficient–bad employees are hired on the basis of politics and innate characteristics instead of merit and no employee is held to account for not doing a good job, or even for not showing up.  There are high levels of corruption–contracts given to politically friendly people and businesses.  And then there is fraud and waste.  Minnesota has it all.  We are truly number one in government waste, corruption and fraud.

A report from a US House committee just scratches the surface in detailing the level of fraud.  It would take years to really reveal the full extent of corruption in the state, which has cost taxpayers billions.  Our idiot governor, the Incompetent Blowhard Tim Walz, and our racist attorney general, Keith Ellison, not only did nothing to prevent fraud or to detect it, they actively protected it, in essence encouraged it.   They fired or silenced any state employee who dared to raise concerns about the fraud.   Why–to get votes and money to stay in power.  A lot of those stolen dollars were recycled to DFL candidates and causes and the fraudsters also assist in vote cheating–getting illegal immigrants to vote or just making up voters and votes.

What Minnesotans are entitled to is a full reckoning of the amount of waste and fraud and a forced payback of all it not just by the scammers but by those who allowed it to happen–make Tim Walz and Keith Ellison and all their pals pony up.  Things won’t get better in this state unless and until the DFL is completely booted out of power and Republicans have the courage to take bold steps to reform the state government.  (House Report)
