I am actually starting to get pretty angry at the revisionist movement regarding the epidemic response, particularly as it concerned children. Article after article now appears bemoaning the lasting effects of closing schools and limiting social interaction, not to mention the terror campaign’s impact on these most susceptible members of our society. So here comes another one, from the BBC, which was an enthusiastic cheerleader for these measures as they were implemented. Now it headlines “How Covid-19 Has Left a Long-Term Mark on Children”. What makes me angry is that it isn’t like there were not people raising the alarm at the time. Those people and their concerns were not just ignored, they were pilloried as child haters and grandma killers. So yeah the BBC is right, we did lasting damage to a generation of school children, but why doesn’t the BBC acknowledge that it is at least partly responsible? (BBC Story)
The most troubling aspect of the L.A. riots is how many people are ready to do violent acts in reaction to an unfounded perception. Propoganda is alive and well; Goebbels would be envious.
“How Covid-19 Has Left a Long-Term Mark on Children” How about “how the gov response to Covid….”
