If you wonder just how woke medicine has become, you don’t have to look far. Most of the supposed preeminent medical journals are full of DIE and climate and other ideological nonsense. Here is a hilarious example. Medicine’s contribution to climate hysteria has been to claim that a warmer earth means more weather-related deaths, and this article does its part by examining supposed effects of non-existent human-caused global warming on deaths in European cities. Now, even these whacked authors have to acknowledge that historically and up to the present, cold weather kills ten times more people than heat does.
Nonetheless, using, guess what, models, they say that this balance will shift, especially in the cities. Please note that one immediate flaw is that all warming that has occurred is basically in urban areas and is not climate related, but caused by the fact the cities are heat generators. So good analyses of temperature trends ignore urban areas. Not these geniuses. There is no need to further describe the “research”; it is literally the typical made-up gibberish, purely based on those models that have been so inaccurate. (Nat. Med. Article)
