The Anti-Strib, March 6, 2025

By March 6, 2025Commentary

I explained the tariff stuff yesterday and today here it is again at the top headline–farmers bracing for tariff fallout.  I am sure they are, but nothing that gives a full picture of the issues.  How about a headline that says Canada, Mexico and other countries have high tariffs and trade barriers against US ag products?  Minnesota state Reps are being mean to Dems by forcing them to take votes and display their whacked ideology.  Some federal offices related to the outdoors might close.  I am waiting for the Strib story that details the deficit and debt issues the US faces and gives us some alternatives to cost-cutting.  The US might shut down some global air quality monitoring.  What, other countries can’t monitor their own air quality?  An almost full page article dedicated to supposed false claims made by Trump in his speech.  Most of which aren’t false, but I just don’t recall any similar article when Bidementia was president, much less one about inveterate liar Timmy Walz.  A VA reorg could cut jobs.  Bad, bad.  The state Reps are trying to eliminate hundreds of millions of dollars in spending for one bridge in a minority neighborhood in St. Paul; spending that was absurd and supposed to address past discrimination.

Keep up the great analysis of the liberal bias by Strib!

The 4th Estate only seems to do their job of questioning government when the party on the right is in office. Its no wonder they have lost all credibility. We need a free and unbiased press.
