The Anti-Strib, March 3, 2025

By March 3, 2025Commentary2 min read

Front page top–Outrage as aid to Gaza halted.  The Strib apparently has a lot of anti-Semites working at it, maybe some of Muslim population.  They didn’t write the story, a lot of what goes in the paper comes from others–AP, NYT, WashPo (not any more there, after Bezos decided to stop doing whacked journalism), but the Strib editors obviously pick all the content.  Funny thing is, I don’t remember any headlines about outrage at how Hamas has treated hostages or even the handover of bodies or at terror attacks in Israel.  The rational view is that people in Gaza all support Hamas, or they would leave and you see the turnout and behavior when Israeli hostages are displayed, so all those Hamas supporters aren’t entitled to any help from anyone.  Informed sources that I read say that even the Arabs want Hamas gone.  So until they are, no aid for Gaza.  This story is completely one-sided and reflects the anti-Semitic bias of the Strib.

Issues about the incompetence of the state Department of Human Services are aired, but not one mention of the Governor who is in charge of this disastrous administration, and no attempt to get a comment from him.  Inside, GOP unease at Medicaid cuts.  More hand-wringing but not about the deficit, the fraud and waste, the slackers, all of which costs hundreds of billions every year.  Trudeau is going to discuss Trump’s threats with King Charles.  Now that is hilarious, Trump’s trolling of Canada is the best thing ever and what is King Charles going to do about it?  Unfortunately Canadians betray their lack of humor by taking this so seriously and it is hurting US exports to the country and conservatives in the country.

On the back page–Trump’s opponents see speech crackdown.  Completely made up and little mention of the outright censorship practiced by the prior administration, much less Fat Timmy’s suppression of any speech he didn’t like during the epidemic.  Just another pathetic, hypocritical issue of our daily POS.
