Masking Kids Was Futile and Damaging

You all know how I feel about masking and what the research evidence shows–they are pointless.  I still see delusional people wearing masks, inclduing while they are driving by themselves in a car, most of whom I feel sorry for because they have a false belief that the mask works and because they are incapable of thinking for themselves.  It was particularly egregious to make children wear masks, it was absurd in fact and very damaging.  Many children still have speech issues stemming from forced mask wearing.  It created unnecessary anxiety and hindered social development, as children couldn’t read social cues.  It was bad, bad, bad in every possible way.

Children were at essentially zero risk of any serious disease from CV-19, they were never shown to be significant transmission vectors to others either.  And research has consistently shown that making them wear masks had no impact on infection rates.  That was shown again in another analysis by the Hoeg research group using school districts that did and didn’t have a masking policy.  It shows zero, absolutely zero difference in infection rates.  (JAPH Article)

This was all common sense, but not to idiots like our Governor, the Incompetent Blowhard Timmy Walz, or to most public health officials.  And I absolutely guarantee you they will make the same mistakes all over again the next time. Always easier to panic and lie than be level-headed and rational.
