Another Piece of Mask Lunacy

By December 15, 2024Commentary1 min read

I can’t believe how hard people are trying to justify the use of masks to suppress the spread of a respiratory virus and doing so years after the epidemic demonstrated how clearly they don’t work.  The idiot author of this study is a physicist who thinks he can use statistics to show what happens in the real world.  He builds a model, tells the model that masks slow transmission and viola, the model tells him that masks slow transmission.  I mean seriously, how infantile can you be in your reasoning.  No evidence for building the model parameters, just literally make stuff up.  I am astounded.  Hey, buddy, how about you take a look at what happened in the real world even when people were forced to wear masks all the time.  Tell me what percent of the population escaped infection?  And scientists wonder why the epidemic caused a massive downstroke in trust of scientists and their work products.  A little honesty and humility might help restore some of that trust.  (PR Article)

All fluids seek the path of least resistance. That’s just basic junior high level physical science. None of the masks formed a tight enough seal which would have forced the air to flow through the mask instead of around it. ( other than the n95 or better masks)

I repeat understanding basic fluid flow is junior high school physical science
