So we know Biden is a lying scumbag and his family is a bunch of greedy grifters who will do anything to make money, including taking advantage of Senile Joe’s official positions. And of course he was lying when he said he wouldn’t pardon Hunter. The blatantness of this lie takes it to a new level. This is exactly why people have no trust in government or politicians. I have thought Trump’s best course was to ignore the obvious criminality that Joe and his entire family have been involved in, perhaps even pardon Bidementia. But this changes my mind. Hunter and the rest of the family aren’t completely off the hook.
I now think Trump should appoint a special prosecutor to look into the entire Biden crime family. And they should grill Hunter and Jim and Joe and Jill, everyone, for days on end. And if Hunter tells one lie or in any manner obstructs the inquiry, he should be charged and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. The pardon doesn’t and couldn’t include any future crimes he commits, including lying to law enforcement. We have to mean it when we say no one is above the law.

I’d prefer Trump start with investigating the Russian collusion scam. That involves the entire government. This it more of a gross exploitation of the type many in government do to a smaller extent. Important but not the top priority IMHO.
While I agree that Hunter’s pardon shreds what small portion of Joe’s legacy was left, I’m not sure I agree with your suggestion. Yes, go after appointed officials who broke their oath of office, providing it was a serious enough incident or practice (e.g. condescending Myorkis and his border intransigence), But to go after Joe’s family the way that Biden did with Trump’s merely increases the level of conflict in American politics and smacks of retribution, exactly as Joe’s harrassing of Trump hurt his legacy.
I would agree, but this is egregious, not just the lying, but it is an attempt to cover-up Jim Biden’s and Joe Biden’s involvement in an influence-peddling scheme at the highest level of the US government. That needs to be investigated.
I believe in reading the text of the pardon, Biden pardoned Hunter for any crimes committed or that he might have committed from 1/1/2014 until the 12/1/2024. It shuts down any investigation within that period. In essence, old Joe just pardoned himself.
“For those offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024, including but not limited to all offenses charged or prosecuted (including any that have resulted in convictions) by Special Counsel David C. Weiss in Docket No. 1:23-cr-00061-MN in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware and Docket No. 2:23-CR-00599-MCS-1 in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.”
Doesn’t stop investigations into others involved in the same crimes, and if you lie to law enforcement officials or obstruct an investigation, that is a new crime that isn’t covered. And there is no pardon for state crimes, you can’t be pardoned by the President for state crimes.
Joe Biden doesnt meet the mental capacity test to be tried in any federal or state court. (dementia has progressed too far).
This of course raises the question, since he lacks “capacity”, ie mental capacity to make a legal contract , does his lack of mental capacity make all his “presidential actions null and void?
The hunter pardon wasn’t about Hunter!
