If you want to track this yourself you can go to treasury.gov and see the auction schedule and results and there are several websites that provide commentary. I will remind you again that these auction sizes are unprecedented and that has to be affecting the auction characteristics. Today was $58 billion in 3-year notes. Interest rate paid was once again higher than expected, 4.15% compared to 3.88% last month. This despite acceptable demand characteristics, especially from foreign buyers. Broken record warning–rates will stay high as the US Treasury struggles to unload all this debt.
