Among Other Problems, Turns Out Renewable Energy Is Fragile

By October 15, 2024Commentary

You won’t find this in the mainstream media, in fact, its hard to find anywhere.  We saw earlier this summer how fragile wind turbines are, as a storm destroyed them off the Massachusetts coast, leaving an environmentally hazardous mess.  I have posted other descriptions of storms destroying solar panel farms.  As you might imagine, both Helene and Milton did their share of damage.  Here is a post describing the destruction of a large solar power farm in Florida.  Now imagine that this is where your electricity comes from.  At some point if there is enough damage to “renewable” energy sources, with no backup coal or gas plants, how are you going to get electricity?  And do you know that you will pay for this damage.  The cost of replacing that solar panel plant will be borne by the electricity rate-payers.  In any given area of the midwest and the south, for example, strong wind and hail storms are fairly common, so as more and more acres are covered by these monstrosities, we can expect more to be damaged or destroyed.  Just one more way that so-called green energy ain’t green and it isn’t reliable and it is very expensive.  (WUWT Post)
