Climate is Complex

By September 9, 2024Commentary

That is an understatement.  The hysterics attempt to dumb everything down to just CO2 levels in the atmosphere.  They are the puppets on the fingers of the rich renewable energy subsidy scam artists.  In our government, everything is always about money and mostly about making rich people even richer. So it is with climate policy.  Electric cars and renewable energy can’t sell themselves, they are too expensive and unreliable, so you need global warming hysteria to close the deal.  And most people just don’t bother to dig out the facts and truth for themselves, so they believe the hysterics.  At least until they find out what it really costs.  Then they may start to wonder if they are being lied to.

Here is another example of climate complexity.  Researchers examined the role of atmospheric rivers in Arctic ice variability.  An atmospheric river, in this context, is a stream of very moist air heading from the tropics to the north pole area. The amount of moisture can have an impact on snowfall and subsequent ice volumes.  The authors find that current models don’t explain the changes in atmospheric rivers over the last few decades.  They conclude, with the obligatory nod toward some role of human actions, that the changes in atmospheric rivers instead appears linked to natural variations in winds and air mass movements in the Arctic. The weather/climate is the most complex system there could be with infinite variables and interactions. Yet, we are told via the no-nothings that run the media that we’re all going to die if we don’t get electric cars. Sorry. If serious economists working with much simpler data sets can’t predict what the economy will do next year with certainty I’m certainly not going to believe the government that’s done such a good job with employment and labor statistics. As someone said “they’ve successfully predicted nine of the last five recessions!” We’re not in a good place.

One of many supporting articles connecting the money ‘dots’ to the absurd make-believe science models and the schemes to transfer wealth under the disguise of ‘climate change’.

I guess the EV industry ‘slow down’ supports your position that some people are waking up. I can’t be fast enough or too soon !
