Unprecedented Warming–of Climate Hysterics’ Brains

By November 25, 2023Commentary

We have unprecedented high temperatures in the world today, a true climate crisis, soon we will all be baking, if not inundated with rising seas or destroyed in forest fires.  That is the climate emergency narrative, which tends to be easily derailed by inconvenient facts.  Like how when long-standing snow occasionally melts somewhere it reveals ancient human artifacts.  See this story from Canada, where some areas with higher than normal melt turned up remnants of civilization from 7000 years ago, which has happened in several locations around the world in recent years.  Now, I know this is hard for the climate hysterics, but let’s apply a little common sense and logic to the situation.  If we have unprecedented warmth now, how is it that people were apparently routinely living in these areas 7000 years ago, areas where people haven’t been living for the last few centuries?  Hmm, might have been even warmer then?  Naw, that isn’t possible, Al Gore and Greta Thunberg tell me it isn’t, so who ya gonna believe, actual scientists or ideological clowns getting rich off the climate scam.  Yeah, that’s what I thought–the latter.  Oh well, I tried.  (Canada Story)

And here is more actual science for you, as I manage to find among the raft of climate hysteria a few nuggets of reality, although to get them published the authors usually have to toss a bone in the direction of the climate emergency religion.  I know some of these studies are rather obtruse in their language but here is what this one actually says:  In Antarctica it looks like the start of the last interglacial saw substantial ice declines, i.e. warming, prior to rises in CO2, in fact the ice breakup may have facilitated the rise in CO2.  As I recall, that may be a reversal of the usual time correlation suggested by the climate religionists.  The authors describe the decline in sea ice and the rise in CO2 as “concommitant” but their data clearly shows the ice decline came first.  (Science Article)

I know these are inconvenient stories for those who want so desperately to believe that there is a climate crisis, but don’t worry, the media, universities, funders, politicians, are all doing their best to suppress any actual science that paints a different picture.  Unfortunately for them, the Chinese and other countries do pretty good research and keep building fossil fuel power plants, so I doubt they can suppress truthful research everywhere.  But they are trying and will keep doing so.

  • Dr. Jon Weber says:

The value of ice data is that it shows local temperature and CO2 levels. Taken as just that the Antarctic ice shows the temperature always rises before CO2 does. TO deal with this the “experts” added another column age of ice. The argument which has some truth is that bubbles move in the ice so they may be younger than the ice around them. Adding in this factor made the CO2 precede the temperature. Rather than explain tehe model used to do this they simply proclaimed that CO2 precedes temperature rise. I have yet to find and scientific explanation for the “adjustment” model except to preserve the narrative. Plotting age of ice versus bubble age does not show a linear but rather a constant adjustment.

Greenland ice still show warming periods but without CO2 rises.
