Coronamonomania Lives Forever, Part 162

By August 21, 2022Commentary

Anti-vax safety nuts, and they are nuts when they persist in spreading mis-information despite having no evidence to support their statements, continually ignore the best sources of data about whether the CV-19 vaccines have any widespread serious safety risks.  Those sources include electronic medical records and large health claim databases.  This study uses several extremely large European EHR data sets to explore a multitude of potential serious adverse events.  Such events were rare, around 10 out of 100,000 vaccinated people.  The adenovirus vaccines, J & J and AstraZeneca were more likely to be associated with them.  After appropriate adjustments, blood clotting disorders and organ vasculities were the only events likely to be causally associated with vaccines.  The fact that there is not a significant safety risk with the vaccines won’t stop the Alex Berenson’s of the world from lying about it and it also doesn’t change the low effectiveness of the vaccines in preventing infection, although they are better at limiting serious disease.  (Medrxiv Study)

Here is another large study on excess deaths, which finds no evidence of connection to vaccine, but also wrongly attributes all the excess to CV-19, when a huge proportion is due to lockdowns and other epidemic response effects, like an increase in homicides and drug overdoses.   Supposedly the US has experienced over 1.1 million excess deaths during the epidemic, with the vast majority being among the elderly.  But on a relative basis, the proportionate increase was greatest among 18 to 49 year olds, which is due to drug overdoses and homicides.  The authors completely ignore changes in causes of death in their zeal to claim all the deaths are due to CV-19.  (Medrxiv Paper)

The interaction between CV-19 and other pathogens is of interest.  This paper finds that bacterial infections were equally common among those persons infected or not infected with CV-19, indicating that CV-19 does not limit bacterial infections, as it appears to do with some respiratory viruses.  (Medrxiv Paper)

A large study from England evaluates factors associated with the risk of hospitalization and death, finding the usual connections to serious pre-existing disease.  (Medrxiv Paper)

This is a modeling study from Australia on the impact of population immunity from infection or vax on epidemic trends.  Prior infection is found to provide more durable protection against subsequent infection but vaccines are said to create greater protection against death.  I doubt that is true, once a person has been infected.  (Medrxiv Paper)

One of the factors in transmission is the stability, and therefore infectious capability, of the virus in the environment and various types of environments.  This study looked at the relative stability of different strains in human biological fluids like mucus.  The original strain was more stable than the subsequent variants in liquid biological fluids, but there was no difference in dried ones.  This is interesting because Omicron in particular appears to be more infectious than earlier variants, but that must be due to mutations allowing for greater receptor binding as opposed to greater environmental stability.  (Medrxiv Paper)

The study describes a factor which makes it less likely that the rate of infections in vaccinated people has been accurately detected.  Vaccination makes blood antibody tests for the nucleocapsid protein less accurate, so the authors used a more sensitive assay which found twice the level of infections as the prior test, suggesting that breakthrough infections are even more common than the data currently indicates.  (Medrxiv Paper)

    Mr Roche,

I believe early in the pandemic you suggested health problems would surface because of the lockdowns. That does in fact seem to be the case, although it is difficult for me to ascertain to what degree.

    Two questions:

#1. What do you make, if anything, about the delay in the release of excess mortality data by the CDC? Does the system upgrade reason seem plausible?

#2. I imagine a similar number of people are attributing the current health problems to Covid infections as opposed to Covid vaccines. Do you view these explanations as “fringe” arguments versus the more logical (to me) explanation that lockdowns are causing the observed adverse health events?

Thank you for your continued attention to these issues. There appear to be many folks in the public eye who are trying to obscure or rewrite their past decisions and advice. Your insights remain key to exposing these falsehoods, whether or not citizens want to confront them or not.

    Cheers!

the CDC is releasing excess death data, just not the huge report, you can find it at the National Center for Vital Statistics and create visualizations by cause, by state and by other variables. What these show is exactly what I and others predicted–a lot of deaths from diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, that indicate missed care and late diagnoses. I don’t think either CV-19 or the vax are responsible for these deaths, it is missed care, pure and simple and our governor and every other governor who insisted on lockdowns and terrorizing their citizens is responsible. And then we have excess drug and alcohol overdoses, also due to the lockdowns.

I don’t care what you say about the safety of COVID Vaccines. There are two thing that are true, they don’t work to prevent disease or spread, and the risk of the vaccine outweighs the risk of COVID in healthy children and young adults. Giving the vaccine to children, is child abuse.

    • Kevin Roche says:

I am sure you don’t care, because it is always easier to not look at data or do logical analyses, it is far easier to just believe any made-up shit you want, takes a lot less work too. So enjoy yourself and your ignorance. I do agree that giving children the vax makes no sense. Young adults can make their own decisions but should be given full data on the benefit and risk. The slow uptake of young children being vaxed suggests parents have figured out it makes no sense.

I think the best way forward is for the immediate termination of Fauci, Walenski, and Califf. Their inferior leadership, communication and allegiances to external leverages, the WHO and the MSM turned a bad flu into a national health crisis. Their actions have directly wrecked millions of lives, caused unmeasurable economic, educational and civic destruction and led to a national paranoia about all things CORONA.

The Berenson’s of the world, and there are many at this point, are right to call into question every aspect of this situation. Their interpretations of the lies and pathetic data are just as egregious as what’s been bombarded upon us from the players named above. It’s time to flush the incompetence at the top and disarm the Berenson crowd. If the mRNA products were properly tested with well known historical guidelines and timelines, none of this would have happened. The dam virus would have taken the exact same course and we’d be in exactly the same place, if not better off, regarding the OVREALL health of our country. Virology is not a new medical development, there are decades, if not centuries, of data and knowledges to work from. The WHO is captured by the WEF and has its tentacles deep into our health organizations. We are no longer a sovereign nation in this regard.

These people failed their citizens and they don’t deserve to work for us any longer ! Under any other business environment, save the Federal Government, they would be long gone. Unless of course they are right on track with their objectives …

Did you raise a glass in celebration upon hearing Fauci is resigning? I think he fears a GOP congress and the scrutiny that may follow. His hubris and lies brought on so much destruction.
