Unprecendented Warmth, My Uhhh, Rear

Climate whackos scare us to death with made up scenarios of disaster.  It isn’t happening, it isn’t going to happen.  One of the favorite headlines is “unprecedented heat” here, there, everywhere.  Lies, all lies.  Maybe they mean unprecedented in the last week?  Because over long stretches of time and in every period between the glacial ice ages, there have been many occasions when it has been far warmer than it is now.  This article discusses that and describes periods of similar or greater warmth and the reasons for them.   (Nature Article)

The focus is on a roughly 1500 year climate cycle driven by what are referred to as Dansgaard-Oeschger events, whose origin is uncertain.  These events cause a very rapid warmth in a few decades followed by a slow decline to the previous general temperature level.  The temperature rise is far greater than anything supposedly being caused by an increase in CO2 in recent decades.  This new paper finds that these events occur in warm periods as well as during the glacial stage of the larger climate cycle.  They stand out less during the warm periods, but they exist.  Astoundingly, because we are told that CO2 is the primary regulator of earth’s climate, rising CO2 has nothing to do with the cause of these warm events, but it does increase after the warming starts.  As we should expect, it appears that while the exact change of causation may not yet be completely understood, the earth’s multiple orbital cycles are the ultimate link.  The earth’s orbit and orientation to the sun change with regularity over thousands of years and those changes affect how much solar energy reaches the planet and in what season.  And guess what, that affects temperature.

It is quite likely that we are in a cycle where most of any temperature change that is occurring is due to those natural cycles.  It is certaintly true that regardless of human activities the normal eccentricities in earth’s orbit will be the primary driver of climate for the forseeable future.  And guess what, we have an ice age coming, probably within 1000 years or so.  If you look at the long term climate record you will see the steady downtrend from the interglacial warm period.  Any slight upticks are likely due to factors other than CO2.  Contrary to whacko green fantasies, the impact of CO2 on global temperature is far from clear.  An increase may lead to more vegetation, which has cooling effect in general.  It may lead to more clouds, which also have a cooling effect.  If you want to read more about orbital dynamics and their effect, try here.  (NASA Site)

You won’t read about this line of research in the media, though, because it doesn’t fit the terror campaign of climate alarmists and the lies used to make renewable energy donors to the Democratic Party rich by extensive subsidies for a worthless product.
