Coronamonomania Lives Forever, Part 152

By July 13, 2022Commentary

John Hinderaker over at the outstanding PowerLine Blog provides a useful commentary on the sudden rush of studies showing what should have been known from the start–closing schools did immense damage to our children.  As John rightly points out, are you listening Little Timmy Walz, it was not the virus that did this, it was our intentional response to the virus.  The damage will last for decades and has permanently impaired the lives of many children.  This was caused by a vicious cycle of teachers’ unions who contribute to spineless lackeys like Tim Walz, who do their bidding without any question.  That power must be broken.  (PowerLine Post)

I constantly mention the issue of how many hospitalizations that are attributed to CV-19 are actually for CV-19.  Here are two recent reports which indicate that well over half of these hospitalizations are incidental, the people were admitted for another reason and test positive.  The first comes from Massachusetts and the state’s data on CV-19.  Look and you see that only 28% of admissions attributed to CV-19 were actually for treatment of CV-19.  (Mass. Data)   The second comes from the UK and finds that only one-third of patients admitted to an ICU with a CV-19 diagnosis were actually in the ICU primarily for treatment of CV-19.  General admissions have a similar pattern.  (UK Data)   (the other thing to note in the UK data is that 64% of the ICU patients were vaccinated)  So here is the question, if these other places can release data that gives a more honest picture of how many cases of serious CV-19 disease there are, why can’t Minnesota?  The state knows.

Another study on home rapid antigen tests.  If they tell you you are positive, they are almost certainly right.  If they tell you you are negative and you have a high viral load, they are occasionally wrong.  If you have a low or medium viral low they may often tell you you are negative, but you also likely aren’t seriously infected or infectious.  (Medrxiv Paper)

Now we are getting all kinds of made-up stuff about the vaccines creating difficulties in getting pregnant and lowering the birth rate.  The study based on Apple health data shows that while in the first menstrual cycle past vaccination there is a slight lengthening of the cycle, cycle length quickly returns to average.  Now it would be worth understanding why there is any effect and is there an effect from any vaccination.  But the reason we are having fewer births is because of economic reasons and who would want to bring a child into this insane world.  (Medrxiv Study)

Another concern anytime the body is dealing with perceived “foreign” matter, like a virus, is that it may actually over-react and worsen the resuting disease.  Antibody dependent enhancement is a fancy name for one aspect of this over-reaction.  This paper discussed the presence of this phenomenon in CV-19 and found that it is actually not very common and unlikely to contribute meaningfully to more serious disease, although it does occur both in people with prior infections and healthy persons.  (Medrxiv Paper)

A global study finds that the economic damage associated with lockdowns caused hundreds of thousands of deaths among children five and under, most in poorer nations.  Congratulations developed countries who pushed this atrocious response.  (NIH Study)

Here is another wonderful effect of the lockdowns–a study from North Carolina finds that they led to more trauma hospitalizations for assault, especially among African-Americans.  (Medrxiv Paper)

It takes two to tango…and thus get pregnant. This recent peer reviewed study out of Israel regarding low sperm counts and motility following vaccination is food for thought. I’m sure economics and the mess our world is in contributes to the low birthrate but I have a sneaking suspicion there could be more to it.

For those following Healthy Skeptic for a while, this will come as no surprise. It’s from Bari Weiss’s substack. https://www.commonsense.news/p/us-public-health-agencies-arent-following
Will HealthySkeptic ever tire of saying “I told you so . . .”?

Well there you have it! QED. Certainly an unprecedented, ever, in history 27% YoY birthrate drop in Taiwan coinciding with a mass vaccination campaign couldn’t be related to the mass vaccination campaign.

It’s economic reasons and the world sucks, two factors that have never occurred before. Previously in history people were happy and rich all the time.

same old vaccine irrationality without a whit of evidence, but welcome back
