Coronamonomania Lives Forever, Part 139

By May 20, 2022Commentary

More on the wastewater front, another crappy study dumped on us, to give the real poop!  It appears that long-after their infection is basically over, people can be discharging CV-19 viral fragments in their poop can show up.  This would then affect wastewater measures.  Wastewater is interesting to think about as a trend identifier, but this is just one more factor that makes it hard to say those measures can give a good real-time picture.  (JAMA Article)

A study of reinfections at an academic medical center, finds that the great majority of people with reinfections were also vaccinated.  Children were rarely reinfected.  In this study group, only two of the reinfected persons were hospitalized and both had underlying conditions.  (Medrxiv Paper)

The study compared viral shedding dynamics between vaxed and unvaxed persons.  The study was conducted during the Delta wave, but may have relevance for Omicron.  While maximum viral loads were similar in the two groups, the median number of days that infectious virus was detected was 7.5 in unvaxed persons compared to 6 in vaxed ones and the decline in viral load from the maximum was faster in the vaxed group as well.   (Medrxiv Paper)

This study found that a rapid antigen test had good ability to identify people who were and weren’t infected during Omicron.  Most positives had high viral loads.  (Medrxiv Paper)

CV-19 vaccines have been given to hundreds of millions, even billions of people.  It would be surprising if there were not some adverse events.  One that has been identified, at very low rates, is blood clotting issues.  This study uses data from self-reported safety databases to explore that adverse event, finding that it does appear associated with both mRNA and adenovirus vaccines, but at an extremely low level.  And as the article itself notes, these self-report databases do not include any validation that the vaccines actually caused the events.  Having said all that, there is enough basis for concern about serious adverse events that it should be factored into vaccination decisions, particularly for younger and low CV-19 risk populations.  (Vaccines Article)

A thorough study of the Covid process is the following:

“Covid Update: What is the truth?”, Russell L. Blaylock, Surgical Neurology International, NIH, April 22, 2022.
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9062939/

“This was dramatically demonstrated with the previously mentioned phony studies designed to indicate that hydroxy Chloroquine and Ivermectin were ineffective and too dangerous to use. As stated, 80% of all deaths were unnecessary and could have been prevented with inexpensive, safe repurposed medications with a very long safety history among millions who have taken them for decades or even a lifetime.”

“The draconian measures established to contain this contrived “pandemic” have never been shown to be successful, such as masking the public, lockdowns, and social distancing. A number of carefully done studies during previous flu seasons demonstrated that masks, of any kind, had never prevented the spread of the virus among the public.”

“There are many things about this “pandemic” that are unprecedented in medical history. One of the most startling is that at the height of the pandemic so few autopsies, especially total autopsies, were being done. Namely, just how many of the deaths were actually caused by the virus? To implement draconian measures, such as mandated mask wearing, lockdowns, destruction of businesses, and eventually mandated forced vaccination, they needed very large numbers of covid-19 infected dead.

“For the first time in modern medical history, early medical treatment of these infected patients was ignored nationwide.

“Families were not allowed to see their loved ones, forcing these very sick individuals in the hospitals to face their deaths alone. To add insult to injury, funerals were limited to a few grieving family members, who were not allowed to even sit together. All the while large stores, such as Walmart and Cosco were allowed to operate with minimal restrictions.

there are no definitive studies showing either hydrochloroquine or ivermectin to be effective. it is wrong to encourage people to believe that something will work that doesn’t

Today’s, 5-20-22, StarTribune (Mpls.) had a full frontpage sheet showing how “deadly” Covid-19 is. It was followed by WCCO Radio’s Vineeta Sawkar , (WCCO Radio ), interviewing the STrib’s columnist John Rash . No need to go into the details except to say he compared the 1918 Spanish Flu almost favorably with Covid.

I hadn’t done it for a long while, so in response I calculated the latest MN cases and death by age data since the beginning in 2020 and sent it to them. We see this in Dixon’s charts.

    Minnesota Covid-19 Age Data May 20, 2022.

I couldn’t disagree more, Kevin. What’s wrong is forbidding physicians to prescribe said medications for fear of losing their jobs or medical licenses. What’s wrong is not allowing well researched studies or papers to be printed because they do not follow the narrative set by the CDC, FDA and our public health officials. There are plenty of studies out there showing the effectiveness of IVM. HCQ didn’t have a chance after the Lancet published their faulty paper ( that got retracted) in 2020. In my humble opinion, HCQ works. I saw it in my own family, twice. Now, that’s not a RCT, but seeing is believing sometimes. And if I’m willing to take the risk that it may or may not work along with my physician, I should be able to make that decision. Not the FDA or CDC.

BTW, i hear the CDC wants to mask us again, nope, not doing it.

oh and wait for it….monkey pox is upon us! heaven help us!! Biden is stirring the pot of fear again. I cannot stomach this administration.
