Nothing can possibly go wrong while wearing a face mask, except when it does. This study shows that the CO2 level (you know CO2, that deadly greenhouse warming gas) goes up over 40% in mask wearers and is far above levels considered dangerous. (Medrxiv Paper)
Professor Ioannidis is one of the authors, so you know this research is likely credible. Everyone is talking about excess mortality and this paper examines a lot of the work. There is great variability depending on method. What does appear clear is that there was no excess mortality among children during the epidemic and that the vast majority of excess mortality occurred in those over 65. Age adjustment is crucial when comparing countries. Among more than 30 developed nations, there was high variation in rates of excess mortality and some countries experienced no excess deaths. Many countries had more excess deaths than CV-19 deaths, which suggests a high rate of lockdown deaths. In fact, comparing CV-19 deaths to excess deaths alone is misleading. Many of the CV-19 deaths are among older people with less than a year of life-expectancy. So the true toll of lockdown deaths is higher than the difference between excess deaths and CV-19 deaths. People have wondered whether certain vaccinations might assist in limiting a CV-19 infection or disease. According to this study from Qatar, a recent flu vaccination had a modest effect on the likelihood of getting infected and a strong effect on likelihood of serious disease. (Medrxiv Paper)
Another study that examined the course of antibody response to vaccination compared to infection. As found elsewhere, while vax provided an initial substantial boost in antibodies, that faded more rapidly than the levels created by infection, particularly in regard to neutralizing antibodies.
