Incidental Hospitalizations

My cynical mind says this sudden burst of reporting of incidental hosps is part of the attempt of politicians to figure out how to get out of this mess, so now they want to minimize the burden of CV-19, whereas before they were trying to terrorize us.  But here is NY State, giving us that data.  And of course, as I expected, a huge percent of hospitalizations are incidental, the admissions were not for CV treatment.  Stories everywhere about this now.  It is going to get a lot worse with Omicron.  But somehow Minnesota can’t give us this info.  DOH has it.
