Okay, people seem to like the idea. And really folks, if we all hit it off, we can do this more than once. I am going to exercise organizer privilege and shoot for somewhere near where I live. Probably Wooden Hill brewery if they will do it. I will get a date and a firm location and let you all know. People prefer a weekend or a weekday or an evening? Weekends and evenings may be harder to get the location to ourselves. And I am serious about having more than one. I will invite the IB, and Jan and Kris and even Ruth, but not sure they will show up. Might be able to get a couple of other surprise guests. Maybe the old Axis of Evil can be reunited.
Anyway, I am serious about doing it more than once if people want to. And I want to do this mostly because I want to express my appreciation for all of you. I don’t say this enough, but I appreciate every single one of you, the fact that you read, that you comment, that you suggest, that you contribute. Creating a community is important, especially in times like this, and you have created one that helps keep us all sane. So thank you and we will party!!

What an excellent idea! I checked the location of the brewery…on the west side of the Cities, this will be helpful as I would be coming from Hutchinson. I prefer the weekend but I could probably get off work early to attend during the week. Yes, February would be a good time, we will be glad to have fellowship with like minded people!
