I am told by a pretty reliable source that DOH made a horrific error in their breakthrough data release today and said there were 2718 breakthru hospitalizations when there were actually 2178. We will update the analysis, but you have to ask yourself how the hell you release such important numbers without triple or quadruple proof-reading. Makes you wonder what other numbers have been typos. But I always want to be as accurate as possible in reporting. We will see if DOH explains itself and issues a correction.
Funny how DOH & CDC typos or data entry errors always overstate the problem, and the corrections always shore up the narrative.
You expect competence from government employees? That’s funny!
“Jan, does this mean I might not get a bonus?”
Things are so bad with vaccine “efficacy” in the UK they are now arguing over which government stats to use to compute it.
“Do you use the stats that make it look barely effective, or the ones that make it look totally ineffective?”
Safe and effective people, safe and effective.
