If you look at page 3 of MDH’s “Weekly Influenza Activity: Statistics Summary 2010-11 – Minnesota Dept. of Health”, and go to the bottom chart labeled, “Hospitalized Influenza Cases
Influenza Surveillance Network (FluSurv-Net) Minnesota, October 1, 2008 – May 21, 2011”, the pattern looks remarkably similar to the daily active cases chart.
