Los Angeles County has been under the most intense lockdown/suppression orders anywhere. Look at the comparison to the states of Florida, Texas and Arizona. Texas and Arizona got a little panicky at points and had some significant suppression efforts. Florida basically said no way early on. If you age-adjusted this, Florida would look even more impressive, and Arizona not quite as high. While Los Angeles County looked pretty good initially, at the current time, age-adjusted it is probably the worst of the group. Mitigation, schmitigation. Thanks to Hold LLC on Twitter.
