You can find these charts for a lot of states and countries, but this one is for Connecticut. When you point out to people the incredible rise in cases notwithstanding mask wearing rates that are among the highest in the world, they say it would be worse if it weren’t for mask-wearing. These charts show how absurd that argument is. What, the case growth could tip over past vertical? These charts are the best evidence you could ask for that at a population level, mask wearing isn’t making any difference, and neither are lockdowns, school disclosures, etc. Thanks to Twitter.
It Would Be So Much Worse If We Weren’t All Wearing Masks All the Time. Really? How Could It Be?

Teens and Cell Phones
Another piece of research shows the huge benefits of keeping smartphones out of schools.
Maybe it would have been as bad as the original models that we were warned would come true in MN if we did nothing (LOL). We must buy empty buildings to turn into morgue overflow space! The sky is falling! Now is the time to panic!
Oh, wait, none of that actually happened.
Except for spending millions to buy an empty building for morgue overflow space. That was a great investment!
sigh
Good news from mother Mayo this morning. They have an unpublished study that confirms masks and social distancing are effective. As we can all see from the chart above.

Sharing the link to see if others can spot the same canard we have been subjected to by other “studies”.
At some point one would think that researchers would start looking at results instead of studies.
