Okay, people like to say that Sweden is doing worse than the other Nordic countries and here is a chart of total deaths per population unit. One thing to notice is that Sweden had a very mild flu season and low deaths in 2019, which left more vulnerable elderly people for the CV-19 epidemic. And you will notice that 2020 deaths in Sweden are back at the level of 2018, not some huge increase.
