Oh, to Live in Sweden

By October 24, 2020Commentary1 min read

They mock you, they ridicule you, you stay the course, who’s laughing now.  Sweden relaxed restrictions on old people and the size of gatherings this week.  Everyone else is talking about being more restrictive.  If you had been less restrictive in the spring, you would be where Sweden is now.  In the long run, we may not all end up in the same place, Sweden may have fewer cases and deaths, because it was more sensible at the start.  Minnesota’s death rate is creeping up on Sweden’s.  When it passes Sweden’s, how will the IB and his administration explain that.  No masks, everything open, people living a normal life.  The graph below tells the tale.
