Nashville got some recent press because the Mayor, put in the best possible light, was trying to avoid full disclosure to the public about how few cases were actually being transmitted in bars and restaurants. Here, courtesy of Mr. Malkus on Twitter, are charts from the four counties in the Nashville area showing daily cases. Note that mask mandate or not, and regardless of when you put it on or took it off, the charts look very similar. Really, virus gonna do what it does. Which is find a way to infect people. Be thankful this is a very mild epidemic. Most of these counties have now decided to lift the mandates. People are gradually actually looking at the data and concluding that lockdowns, mandates, etc., just don’t make a difference.
