Some Quick Late Night Story Hits to Help You Sleep

By April 22, 2020Commentary

As I have long suspected, coronavirus began circulating in the United States long before it has commonly been accepted.  Two autopsies of patients who died on February 6 and February 17 in Santa Clara County, California, revealed the presence of coronavirus and the deaths were attributed to coronavirus illness.  The virus in all likelihood was circulating by mid-January at the latest, based on those dates of death.  This supports the notion that many more people have been infected than the official tally tells us, and that almost all these infections must have been asymptomatic or mild.  (Reuters Story)

And here is a cheery thought, especially for all those who don’t think the lockdowns are going to be worse than coronavirus disease.  A New York Times story is warning that because of the global economic downturn due to the mass pan(dem)ic leading to lockdowns, mass starvation is likely in poor countries, with hundreds of millions of people threatened.  Yep, really smart decision-making.  (NYT Story)

Have a good night’s sleep, and then wake up in the morning mad as hell and not going to take it anymore.  Demand that actual facts lead to a balanced consideration of what the right course of action is.
