Big Sigh, I Hate to Keep Writing about This Topic

We have a whole crew of nuts and internet trolls still trying to convince people that the CV-19 vaccines have caused lots of deaths.  That is pure bullshit, they have caused few if any. Of course, now they have the completely nutty RFK, Jr, who makes millions from trial lawyers, on their side, spreading his own special version of cow manure.  But the evidence has piled up from good quality research that there are no excess deaths related to vaccines nor any really solid evidence of any specific deaths and here is another good study on that topic, from France, looking at all cause mortality among adults 18-59.  All cause mortality is an important measure because if the vaccines are causing lots of deaths, as alleged by the whackos, it would show up in the total death figures.

And of course, they don’t show up.  22.7 million vaccinated persons and 5.9 unvaccinated ones were included.  The vaccinated persons had a significantly lower risk of death from CV-19 and no difference in total mortality over a 45 month followup period.  While I am sceptical about studies showing high effectiveness of the vax against CV-19 caused death, due to difficulty of tracking prior infection status, this result is among a younger group which is less likely to have serious CV-19.  The results were pretty well adjusted for both socio-demographic factors and health status.  Sub-analyses indicated that vaccinated persons, even after accounting for relative CV-19 deaths, had lower all-cause mortality.  Results like this illustrate the pure absurdity of any suggestion that CV-19 vax caused deaths, any deaths at all.  But that won’t stop the delusional dunces who preen for their few seconds of fame by telling these lies.   (JAMA Study)
