The big news in Minnesota recently is of course the school shooting by a boy subsumed by the transgender luncacy. As I made clear in recent posts, the blame for this tragedy lies squarely at the feet of Tim Walz, the Dem party, the physicians and academics who promote this sick ideology, the websites that allow and promote people advocating violence, and the parents and others who were aware of this young man’s issues and tendencies and did nothing to address it and did nothing to inform the authorities about his possession of firearms. The Dems of course want to try to make it all about guns, despite the fact that tens of millions of Americans own firearms and a miniscule percent ever use them in these kinds of shootings.
And the Strib dutifully falls in line with the Dem messaging, as it is instructed to by those who run the paper–always protect Dems and demonize conservatives. More concern was expressed about harm to the transgender cult than to the Catholic and Christian groups that were targeted. Not one word was said about the role of gender ideology indoctrination in schools and elsewhere, indoctrination which Tim Walz and the Dem party have forced on children across the state. This and other Dem policies have introduced a severe level of mental health distress among many children and young people. When you enact crazy policies you will get crazy people. But the Strib completely ignores the truth and works to divert attention to guns. Meanwhile a couple of weeks ago they ran a top headline story about the killer of the state legislators religion being the cause of that shooting. Sick.
In other news, as Trump’s use of federal resources to actually do law enforcement in Washington, DC works to show that it is possible to reduce crime without much effort really, the Strib ignores the results and the delight of the city’s residents and instead reprints gibberish regarding Trump being authoritarian and exceeding his powers. Also ongoing stories about the tragedy of real enforcement of the immigration laws. Anyone seeing any real issues? What I see is lots of criminals being deported and native-born Americans and legal immigrants stepping up to take jobs when illegals are removed from the workforce.
The Texas redistricting is destroying democracy, but what has been done for decades in California, Illinois, New York by the Dems is just fine. Dems real fear is that if Reps play by the same rules as Dems, we will have a Rep majority for decades. Some of the federal judges are actually the biggest threat to democracy, as they routinely exceed their authority in an attempt to stop Trump. And the Dem state Attorney General’s, like our own racist Keith Ellison, who bring these lawsuits might better focus on the runaway crime in their states.
We are still getting a regular run of how bad the federal spending cuts are, while anyone who looks can see that it hasn’t made a bit of difference. Climate nonsense like a warming world is making people age faster. Truly hilarious the lengths the hysterics will go to in a vain attempt to promote their cause. Meanwhile it is actually pretty cool across most of the globe. Disappointingly to the Strib, the Epstein nonsense has been put to rest in regard to Trump. Another funny story regarding organized yelling sessions to let off steam, all for Dems who are upset about how well Trump is doing. Trump is threatening the independence of the Federal Reserve, which it turns out hasn’t always been very independent.
A hideous story about a native American convicted of the ambush murder of two FBI agents having a hard time after being released from prison. He never should have been let out. Shockingly, a story suggesting that Tim Walz may have done wrong by appointing big Dem donors to the U of Minnesota board of regents. Of course, still some residue of tariffs causing inflation and ruining businesses, despite all evidence to the contrary. Minnesota does have economic issues, but they are due to almost the highest taxes in the country and over-regulation. Minnesota’s school test scores are “holding steady”. They are well below where they were a decade ago and worse than most southern states’. They are an embarrassment.
We have a complete nutjob running for mayor of Minneapolis, a socialist, anti-police, out and out racist. He is so nuts that the only slightly less nutty mainstream Dems are trying to undermine him. It is funny to watch as they run hit pieces and have discovered that their party routinely engages in voter fraud and other election shenanigans, including in his endorsement by the party for mayor. Ridership is low on the light rail system, which is way over budget and far behind schedule. Might have something to do with all the crime permitted on the trains.
