Not a typo, even though the “s” and “e” keys are close together. Our local print media rag, the Star Tribune, keeps shrinking, you can’t even get basic sports news. It rages on about whatever it’s doddering editorial geniuses decide it should, occasionally enraging me. But it does still have comics, especially in the main news section. The Strib is an accurate barometer of the marching orders given by the national Democrat party to its media arms, particularly since most of the news in the Strib comes from the NYTimes, the Wash, Post and AP, all far left-wing sources. And what you notice is that the party is struggling to define a single theme that really catches the interest of the whackos in the country. Still a lot of illegal immigrant sadness, a lot of “budget cuts will kill everyone and everything”, not much Epstein furor now that it is clear there is no smoking gun on anyone, Rep or Dem, and from the Strib’s perspective, most unfortunately not on Donald Trump. And the anti-Semitism and anti-Israel nature of those who control content is becoming more prominent.
The Texas redistricting push got a lot of attention. Apparently Dems are freaking out that Reps will adopt the Dem tactics–see Illinois. Next thing you know, Reps will be making up voters and using ballot harvesting. Dems will have to up their cheating game. Tariffs and other Trump policies are leading to inflation and less consumer spending, except that they aren’t. The usual climate gibberish, ignoring that global temperatures are actually declining this year.
Locally, most of the news is disaster humor–so bad you have to laugh. The Dems have run the state for two decades, with huge fraud and waste, ever-rising spending and taxation, and it get no notice from the Strib, but a Rep campaing has an accounting issue and it is front-page news. Native Americans are complaining about crime among their population in Minneapolis. You get what you vote for. Racist, anti-Semitic scammer Ilhan Omar has a hold on her Congressional District–not noted in the story is that it is because of an unparalleled fraudulent voting machine. But it is really bad that the federal DOJ wants Minnesota voting records to investigate the obvious fraud.
The Hennepin County district attorney, a lunatic more interested in prosecuting cops than criminals, isn’t going to run again. Don’t worry we will get another one even worse. The departing moron complained that she didn’t have a chance to fully implement her reform ideas. Oh, you did plenty of damage, so you accomplished what you wanted to. The Dem nominee for mayor of Minneapolis is another racist, anti-Semitic Somali who is a socialist. He is so concerned about equality, etc., that he drives a BMW, paid by from his share of proceeds from Minnesota’s never-ending frauds. You can’t make this crap up. The Minneapolis police chief invites a known criminal racist to talk at police training and has to apologize when he calls police Nazis.
Our Governor is hated outstate, afraid to show up, but the paper talks about his appearance at Farmfest and how the farmers were happy to see him. Liars. As usual with the Dems, the Governor undoubtedly stacked the audience with paid attendees. The Incompetent Blowhard claims to be bi-partisan and when he starts calling Dems Nazis I will believe him. He weighed in on the redistricting furor by noting that Dems have to fight harder. Dems have gerrymandered so badly that they have nothing left to gain. And of course another huge fraud in Minnesota state programs was revealed, the agency involved is so crooked it simply will be shut down.
And another note, serious this time, the paper reprints a story from the NYTimes on the sharp rise in cannibis poisonings among children. I have been warning about the lunacy of legalization coupled with the massive rise in potency of cannibis strains. As THC makes its way into snacks and drinks, kids get it and it is causing serious illness. Ask Colorado how legalization has gone in terms of crime and homelessness and filth. Not to mention the risk of mental illness among teenagers. Yeah, a really harmless product.
