Another Week of Strib Gibberish, June 25, 2025

By June 25, 2025Commentary3 min read

So, what’s happening in the world, country and state, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune?  Or put another way, what are the Democrat talking points that the media has been told to push.   Tariff hysteria has faded, although still present, replaced to some extent by Iran war hysteria–Trump’s actions will draw us into a long conflict, etc.  The most hilarious headline was that by eliminating Iran’s nuclear weapons program, Trump has actually made the spread of nuclear weapons more likely.  Only a Strib editor or writer could make that logical leap.  Oh wait, that story, the top headline on the front-page, was actually written by the AP.   The usual nonsense on how badly all those illegal immigrants are being treated.

The aftermath of the politically-motivated murders in Minnesota reveals, as I suspected, that the perpetrator is crazy, delusional, mentally disturbed.  But the Strib coverage veers toward blaming Republicans, Christians, and bizarrely “populists”, who are said to have become violent.  Surprisingly though, one story noted that Fat Timmy’s rhetoric may be part of the problem, as he travels the country calling conservatives “facists” and “Nazis” and says we need to be meaner to them.  Dems have openly endorsed violence against Trump and in regard to immigration enforcement.  I think we know where the crux of the problem is.

The dolts living in Minneapolis and St. Paul who keep voting for pro(re)gressive Dems are concerned because their property taxes are going up at an astronomical rate.  You are getting what you voted for.  Same for the University of Minn students complaining about tuition hikes.  Health insurance costs are going up by 12% to 26% for those buying individual policies and  9% to 17% for small group policies.  Prominent restaurants in the Twin Cities keep closing.  Yep, Minnesota under Tim Walz is a very inexpensive place to live and run a business.

Some climate change hysteria–warming is speeding up, only it actually isn’t occurring at all except in urban areas.  But on the positive side, although alarming to the Strib, more Americans are skeptical of solar and wind power. Tens of thousands of paid protesters show up on “no kings” day.   Out-of-control judges are trying to issue decisions to rein Trump in.   The Strib runs a regular poll, among the most biased in the country as it is stacked with Dem respondents.  Even that poll, however, shows that Walz has a rapidly declining approval rating and most Minnesotans don’t want him to run for Governor again.  It also shows a 45% approval rating for Trump in the state, his highest yet, so I figure it is really at least 55%.

And if you feel a need to regurgitate, perhaps engage in projectile vomiting, you can always read the Strib opinion pages.

Where were the “no kings” people during T.T.’s lockdowns and business destruction? Probably too busy on the snitch line, turning in their neighbors for celebrating Thanksgiving without masks.
