Debunking Climate Hysteria, May 27, 2025

Willis Eschenbach writes excellent posts on climate, many at Watts Up With That. (Ignore anything he says on tariffs or economics, and don’t believe it when he says he will respond to actual critiques of his work.)  His most recent post examines recent temperature trends and model projections.  We are told that the entire world is not just warming but burning up, ice melting everywhere, seas rising, tornadoes and hurricanes increasing in number and power, wildfires running rampant.  All lies, not supported by real data.  Look at the graphics in Willis’ post–you can see that there is no “global” warming.  Some parts of the earth have cooled, some have warmed.  Pretty much what you would expect with a complex weather and climate system.

Then look at the model outputs he examines–particularly note the wild inconsistency between these models.  That alone tells you that the models, as usual, are bullshit.  Whatever data they are using to forecast the future is worthless or the model constructors have written algorithms that twist the data in ways that end up with inaccuracy.   The main point is that no one should trust individual climate models, much less the average of all these pathetic models.  But the hysterics only talk about the models not the real data.  Wonder why?  (WUWT Post)
