Minnesota Is Doing Just Great, According to You Know Who

By May 10, 2025Commentary3 min read

Fat Timmy Walz is a liar, a compulsive liar, he doesn’t have to think to lie, he does it instinctively, the words come out and they are lies.  Little Timmy likes to run around country lying to people about how great Minnesota has been under his leadership, but Minnesotans know better.  The fraud and waste have gotten some national attention, as has the soaring crime; but few probably know how high our taxes have gotten, how bad our schools are and how many people have fled the state as a result.

One of Little Timmy’s favorite lies is to take some garbage ranking of states and claim it shows how great Minnesota is.  Haven’t heard him say a word about US News and World Report’s recent set of rankings.  Which is a little surprising since Minnesota is number 4.  It is hard to find the exact methodology, which is suspicious in itself, but it appears to be very superficial, largely based on surveys and it uses a weighting which is weird.  For example, we are highly ranked for “fiscal stability”, but Minnesotans know that Fat Timmy has created a massive deficit and an unsustainable spending and taxation regime.

We are ranked 11th in education, which is simply a joke–our standards have been relaxed and the majority of students still can’t do really grade appropriate reading or math.  Multiple southern states do better than Minnesota.  We rank high on “opportunity”, and I have to ask–opportunity for what–to get carjacked, to fraudulently get rich on government funds, to have your child’s head filled with racist, sexist, gender-ideology gibberish?   (USNWR Article)

Maybe Timmy doesn’t say anything because during his and his whacked Dem predecessors terms the state’s ranking on health care has dropped 13 spots and on the overall economy by 16, to below average.  At this rate, the Wannabe Rockette will have us down near the bottom if he gets a third term.  The Census Bureau did a release of updated population figures.  They redid their methodology for immigrants and refugees, i.e., they finally acknowledged the millions of illegal aliens that Bidementia let in.  Most states had upward shifts in population growth, including Minnesota, which before had basically been flat.

But what the numbers also reflect the ongoing loss of Minnesotans to other states via domestic migration and only immigration keeps the state from a net loss of people.  We lost 48,000 residents from April 2020 to July 2024.  Minnesota on a percent basis has one of the biggest outflows of citizens, mostly to states like Florida, Texas, Tennessee and other conservatively run jurisdictions.  Our neighbors Wisconsin and South Dakota gained population in the same period.  I think that ongoing outflow is the best indicator of how people really feel about the state and Little Timmy’s governance.
