In today’s version we read the students are protesting book bans. Here again is the truth you will see no where in the story–parents have every right to control what their children are exposed to, whether it is whacked gender ideology or really anything relating to sex or sexual orientation or the extremely racist “critical race theory”. Few people are actually trying to “ban” books, they just want to not have them pushed on children.
In one area of Minneapolis, a push to control crime. Why, again, you won’t read it in the Strib, but Minneapolis can’t get police officers because it demonizes them and makes it impossible for them to do their jobs and then won’t defend them against false accusations of abuse. Minneapolis is crime-ridden and will stay that way.
Vets are being hurt by VA cuts, actually it isn’t clear that they are, as the story itself notes way down at the bottom. But anyone would be alarmed when all the see in papers like the Strib and the mainstream media is lies about what the DOGE team is doing. The White House is threatening lawyers. If you participate in lawfare based on politics you should expect consequences.
And as usual, don’t even bother to read the Strib’s editorial page. It is nothing but Dem propaganda, including a racist op-ed about white people and a representative from Columbia University encouraging the U of M to continue its policy of attempting to suppress any expression of conservatism on campus and force radical whacked pro(re)gressivism on every student, teacher and staff member.
